Don’t Drink the Water in India

by admin on August 12, 2008

You’ve heard the horror stories – people getting sick after drinking the water. Well, it can be true so you want to be very careful when drinking beverages in India. Buy bottled water and avoid drinking from the tap. If you get a beverage at a restaurant, ask for it without ice. If you purchase a freshly pressed juice, request all fruit, no water. Luckily you can order water home delivery very cheaply.

this is a very stupid post. Arent any indians living drinkin the same water. If any of you come over to mysore, drink the very own water of here from river kaveri. It tastes really good. The bottled waters are nothing in front of this.

I’m sorry you think it’s a stupid post.

I’m sure it is good water if you say so. But foreigner’s digestive system is different and not used the water there. I would exercise caution and not advise people to drink from the river unless they have lived there for some time and their immune systems have adapted to the surrounds.
