I AM FROM MYSORE.

Spent the 41 years of my 46 in Mysore. Out for only the last 5 years. :)

Will certainly keep the updates. For your information, I resided just next to the latest Shala in Chamarajapuram. As I dont find any link for an RSS feed, do drop me an alert when you post something to madhukar.kr1100@gmail.com

All the best with the YOGA

Yes, if you want something done right, best to do it oneself. Then you just can't complain. :)

Thanks for the comment Madhukar! If you see anything that needs to be updated or corrected, I really appreciate hearing from you. You obviously know Mysore quite well.

True, There are no Laundromats in Mysore. The concept just does not exist in this part of the globe. A place where a simple Washing Machine itself is a luxury, people just do not accept machine washing our clothes. There a pleanty of household help who wash the clothes by rinsing the clothes in a bucket of detergent solution and then scrubbing on a slab of stone. They are then rinsed in clean water to remove the soap content and then line dried in the Sun/Wind to get fresh clothes that are crisp.
We probably just like to do our own work rather than asking machines to do it for us and then having to crib about a bad job done by the machine.
That is MYSORE for you. :)
